To qualify as a Chartered Architectural Technologist you must complete the Chartered Architectural Technologist Professional and Occupational Performance (POP) Record. Once this has been successfully assessed, you must then pass a Professional Practice Interview.
Technician progression
If you have already qualified as an Architectural Technician you will be able to progress to Chartered Membership via the completion of the Chartered Architectural Technologist Professional and Occupational Performance (POP) Record. Once this has been successfully assessed, you must then pass a Professional Practice Interview.
Experiential progression
If you have an Associate degree, Higher Diploma, Higher Certificate or equivalent or are without a formal recognised qualification, you can progress towards Chartered Membership once you have attained at least ten years’ relevant work experience. You will be required to complete the Chartered Architectural Technologist Professional and Occupational Performance (POP) Record and once successfully assessed, you must then pass a Professional Practice Interview.
