Applying as a profile candidate

This membership category is available to candidates in self-employment or without a formal qualification.

There are three types of profile candidate:

Type A: for applicants who have not completed a recognised qualification or have a non-recognised qualification (such as one achieved overseas) with significant experience within the industry.

Type B: for applicants who have a recognised qualification but are self-employed as sole practitioners, Partners, Directors, and LLP members. Applicants will be required to register their practice, as per the Institute’s Code of Conduct, within three months of the date of their membership acknowledgement letter. Failure to comply will mean that the applicant’s membership application will be rejected. Those who require a holding letter to obtain professional indemnity insurance, one will be issued upon receipt of the completed application.

To register your practice, please complete the form below and return it along with copies of business stationery for Institute approval, evidence of adequate professional indemnity insurance showing expiry date and your completed membership application form.
