When you have completed your studies in Architectural Technology, you can seek employment or take your qualification further via a Masters degree or similar.
There are a variety of employment opportunities for you as a graduate Architectural Technologist or a part-qualified Architectural Technician. However, a career in Architectural Technology is not just about being in an architectural practice — it is a wide and diverse profession.
Traditionally, Chartered Architectural Technologists and professionally qualified Architectural Technicians work within architectural practices, housing associations and for local authorities. It doesn’t stop there though as employment can be found in research, manufacturing, academia, the health sector and in processing industries.
With such a diverse range of skills, you will find yourself involved with projects that are commercial, domestic, residential and industrial, whether they be adaptation, conservation, conversion, maintenance, management, new build, restoration, retrofit or re-use projects.
