What is CIAT and what will it do for me?

The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) is the only international qualifying body for Architectural Technology. It is a membership based organisation and qualifies Chartered Architectural Technologists and professionally qualified Architectural Technicians.

Qualifying as a Chartered Architectural Technologist or a professionally qualified Architectural Technician is an essential step in your career as an Architectural Technology professional. Either qualification will open many doors and ensure a successful future for you.

You can join CIAT at any time during your career but it is recommended that you apply as a student member as soon as you enrol on your programme. Student membership is free and will be the first step in your professional career.
