Channel Islands Region CPD event: Guernsey

Channel Islands Region members are invited to hear Ken Morrison from WT Partnership who has very kindly agreed to give a talk on the following topic at the Guernsey Yacht Club, St Peter Port, at 12 noon, Wednesday 15 February 2017. 
 
'A Quantity Surveyor’s Thoughts on How Architectural Professionals Can Keep Out of the Fire.'
 
It will include general comments on the following:
 
  • Client brief
  • Tender documents
  • Selection of the form of contract
  • Contract administration
  • Dealing with defects
  • Agreement of the final account
 
There will also be the opportunity for questions of general matters concerning construction procurement and administration.
 
All members of both CIAT and RIBA/GSA within your practice. The cost of the event will be £7.00, which will cover a lunch buffet and tea/coffee. The talk will last roughly 45 mins and there will be an opportunity to have a general Q&A afterwards with Ken.
 
If there are any particular topics people would like to discuss on the day, please let us know.
 
Please respond with anticipated attendees as soon as possible, and no later than 5.00pm on Friday 10 February. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to allow for the talk to begin on time.
