We are pleased to announce that the long awaited revised versions of the Institute’s Contract Administration Forms are now available in Word format. These forms have been reviewed and updated to reflect relevant changes to legislation and to harmonise with the commonly used industry work stages.
Unlike previous versions, these forms will be available in electronic format only. The Institute will not be producing a CD-ROM or camera-ready artwork versions of these forms. From now on these forms will be available electronically via a Dropbox facility that has been set up and can be purchased either individually or as a complete set.
Apart from the overall review of the forms, four of the forms – Certificate (now called Certificate for Payment), Certificate of Inspection, Confirmation of Instructions (Domestic) and Notice of Adjudication - have been amended.
The Confirmation of Instructions (Domestic) has been redesigned so that you can now delete the stages that do not apply. All versions of the Institute’s Conditions of Engagement are included with the Confirmation of Instructions Form so that you can choose the appropriate version depending on where you are working, and is aimed at domestic projects. There is a wide range of similar forms aimed at commercial projects that are available. The RIBA Plan of Work, which is badged by CIAT can be accessed free from the link below:
We have also produced a guidance note to accompany the Notice of Adjudication Form, and this should be downloaded with this Contract Administration Form.
If you have purchased either a complete set of the 2009 Contract Administration Forms or an individual form (or forms), we are pleased to announce that for a short time only you may obtain the forms free of charge. Please contact the Practice Department on email@example.com, confirming which form/forms you wish to purchase and the relevant Dropbox link will be sent to you.
Please note that this free offer is only for a strict limited period of three months, and will expire on 23 April 2017. Any requests for either a complete set or individual Contract Administration Forms that are received after this date will be charged at the rate of £10.50 (inclusive of VAT) per individual form and £99.75 (inclusive of VAT) for a complete set.
