Chartered Membership re-entry
Those members that achieved Chartered Membership and have allowed it to lapse for more than three years are required to complete the professional practice units of the Chartered Architectural Technologist POP Record, followed by the Professional Practice Interview. If this applies, the lapsed member will need to complete a re-entry application form. The re-entry applicant will be registered as profile candidate (Type C).
If membership has not lapsed for three years, then Chartered Membership can be re-instated by completing the re-entry application form and sending the appropriate membership subscription.
Architectural Technician re-entry
Those members that achieved Architectural Technician membership and have allowed it to lapse for more than three years are required to complete units J and K of the Architectural Technician POP Record. If this applies, the lapsed member will need to complete a re-entry application form.
If membership has not lapsed for three years, then Architectural Technician membership can be re-instated by completing the re-entry application form and sending the appropriate membership subscription.
Associate membership and profile candidate re-entry
Applicants who were previously Associate members or profile candidates, can be re-instated by completing the re-entry application form. In order to progress to Chartered Membership please refer to the membership progression map.
How to apply
When returning the application form for re-entry, which can be downloaded below, please include a copy of your curriculum vitae and relevant subscription fees. If membership has lapsed for more than five years, copies of your qualifications will need to be included.
