In 2005, having worked in the profession for 22 years, and having been a Chartered Member of the Institute for four years, I took the leap of faith into self-employment.

I now enjoy a greater degree of control in the work routine and decision making process. Increased client liaison, full involvement with the statutory and regulatory authorities and design freedom are all benefits which come with Chartered Member status of the Institute.

Presently the company portfolio covers a broad spectrum of projects from house extensions to town centre commercial developments and from speculative housing schemes to environmentally conscious rural mixed-use developments.
