Achieving Level 6: Practical ways to design for the Code for Sustainable Homes

22 April 2008

Thistle Hotel, Brighton

Everyone is talking about designing and building homes to the Code for Sustainable Homes. It can be hard enough designing and building homes that attain Level 3 of the Code – but how can we aim to achieve Level 6?  But how do you actually do it? This one-day conference will incorporate relevant workshops and site visits.

Organised by RIBA South East and the Low Carbon Network.

· Chaired by Duncan Baker-Brown, BBM Sustainable Design
· Practical coverage of the Code itself: low impact materials; passive solar design; renewables; reducing water usage
. Opportunity to visit local low carbon projects - new build house in Preston Park; and the One Planet Living Project in the New England Quarter near Brighton Station

Fee per delegate: £99 if booked before 1 April, £125 thereafter
