Creating a Low Carbon South East

The Environment Centre (tEC) today announced it is hosting a major two-day conference on low carbon development. Innovation Secretary John Denham MP heads the list of policy makers, business leaders and low carbon pioneers speaking at the conference.

Christine Watkins, Chief Executive of the Environment Centre (tEC) said “Low carbon development will soon become the norm. The conference will give all those responsible for creating a low carbon economy in the South East the opportunity to hear the opinions of National and pivotal speakers in the field of low carbon development. An overview of current strategies, plans and solutions will enable developers, suppliers, planners and councils to help take advantage of this growing market.”

The conference will be held at the University of Southampton, itself a low carbon pioneer and home of the world-renowned Sustainable Energy Research Group.

Entry to the conference costs £75 per day.
