This 1½ hour seminar is applicable to all those involved in development projects and will cover information on European Protected Species (EPS) and the implications of the amendments to the Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c.) Regulations 1994, including:
- Increased protection for European Protected Species
- Amendments to disturbance thresholds
- Licence requirement for dwelling houses
- Removal of ‘lawful operation’ defence
- New offence for breaching licence conditions
- Amendments to the Local Planning Authority requirement of EPS Consultation
- Document completed before submitting applications
CPD certificates will be issued to those present upon request. Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival.
