Your Guide to Retirement is a printed guide is designed for people 6 to 12 months from retirement to help them make informed financial decisions by the Consumer Financial Education Body (CFEB) .

This guide is designed to help people make informed financial decisions around retirement.  A key life stage, but one where CFEB research found many put off making important decisions due to a lack of knowledge or understanding of the issues.

The guide is in a tabbed format that allows easy navigation between subjects. The guide includes topics such as pensions, entitlements, managing money, tax, saving and investing, lifestyle choices, health and care, inheritance and bereavement.

Reduced subscriptions
If you are unemployed or not working due to health or maternity, CIAT offers a reduced subscription — £50 (€59).

To be eligible to apply, you must write to CIAT’s Subscriptions Department with supporting evidence such as your unemployment form or similar. Once approved for concessionary rate you will be eligible for the current subscription year.  If your circumstance remain unchanged for the next subscription year you must advise us again in writing and again providing the necessary supporting evidence.
