CIAT Chartered Environmentalist
As a constituent body for the Society for the Environment, CIAT is able to award the chartered environmentalist qualification to its Chartered Members who are able to demonstrate their ability to meet the required competences.
Chartered Environmentalists are drawn from no one profession. They work across industry, government, education and the public sector. What they share is a commitment to environmental best practice and a high degree of expertise in their field. Increasing recognition of the environmental challenges we face means that the role of the Chartered Environmentalist is more important than ever.

The CIAT Conservation Register identifies Chartered Architectural Technologists competent in the conservation of historical buildings and their surroundings as defined and recognised by the Edinburgh Group.
Assessment of suitability to be placed upon the CIAT Conservation Register will be determined based upon a technical assessment of a candidate’s portfolio followed by a formal interview, again based upon the submitted portfolio.
