Copies of the CFEB’s Redundancy Handbook which provides advice on making the best of your money are available from CIAT on request. Please contact careers@ciat.org.uk
The Redundancy Handbook is a printed guide aimed at people who are:(a) worried about the prospect of redundancy,
(b) going through the process of redundancy, or
(c) are recently unemployed – up to one year.
The purpose of the handbook is to help people through a deeply worrying, stressful time - a time when they really need clear and objective information on managing their finances.
The Redundancy Handbook covers an array of topics, for example, information about redundancy rights, managing money, dealing with money worries, dealing with job worries and entitlements.
Each section of the handbook is tabbed and allows the reader to dip in and out of topics as they need. It’s a one stop shop for all you need to know.
CIAT members and dependents are eligible to contact the Architects’ Benevolent Society (ABS) for support or assistance. The ABS has recently launched an excellent redundancy pack which provides guidance and links to various websites: www.absnet.org.uk/news/redundancy
A hardcopy of the pack can be obtained by calling the ABS on 020 7580 2823.
The website links contained within the Redundancy Pack are:
