Students, Associates and Technician members wishing to practice
Only Chartered Members and profile candidates are permitted to practice on their own account. You will therefore need to transfer your membership status to that of profile candidate until you can come through for Chartered Membership and complete a practice profile form for profile candidates and forward to the Institute together with proposed business stationery and evidence of professional indemnity insurance.
Profile candidates wishing to practice
Profile candidates need to register their practices in accordance with the Institute’s Code of Conduct by completing a practice profile form for profile candidates and return together with evidence of professional indemnity insurance and samples of business stationery for approval.
Bankruptcy
If you become Bankrupt or cease to trade – you must advise the Practice Department in writing ASAP, with the details.
