These courses have been run at a lower cost per participant than available in the general market or through other institutes. If you are interested in taking one of these courses please contact the Centre CPD Officer John O’Sullivan at jkosullivan@eircom.net. A minimum number of tweleve people is generally required before these courses become viable to run

POP Record Workshops
There is an annual visit to hold POP Record Workshops by James Banks, Membership Director. Attendance at POP Workshops counts as CPD.

Unfortunately due to low membership numbers outside Dublin it is not feasible to organise regional CPD evenings at the moment.
There are a number of CPD opportunities locally available through other institutes, local Government, Semi State and commercial organisations. Members can notify the Centre CPD Officer John O’Sullivan at jkosullivan@eircom.net if they think an event in their area may be of interest to their members.

A native of Dublin, I am 63 and married with no children, a Chartered Member of CIAT since 1987 and registered as an Architect in Ireland since 2009 and so have two qualifications - Chartered Architectural Technologist and Architect.

In private practice, my particular areas of expertise are disabled access, Building Regulations, fire safety and the Health & Safety (Construction) Regulations as well as contract administration and defects liability monitoring.
I have experienced a long and varied career during 45 years in the architectural field, both in Ireland and New Zealand and have successfully dealt with projects from domestic extensions to large, multi-million developments.
